Flexersize is a training method designed to get you RESULTS and help you achieve your flexibility goals safely and in the most efficient way. 

When it comes to flexibility training there is so much more involved than just stretching. When the body feels tight, we believe that it’s actually very likely there are weaknesses or imbalances that are crying out for support. So rather than only focusing on stretching those areas, we have carefully designed the Flexersize method which combines stretch, strength, stability, mobility and active flexibility drills to allow the body to finally reach its current flexibility potential and beyond. 

Along with the above we also truly believe that movement patterns are changed first in our mind and after focused attention to refining our techniques they then become ‘muscle memory’. 

With that in mind, rather than just showing you a bunch of drills to follow, we have created the most educational programs we possibly could to give you tools to make conscious shifts at the neurological level and therefore ensure you are training effectively every single time you stretch. 

Our number one aim is to educate and empower you, so that when you’re working on skills like splits, middles splits or backbends you are totally aware of how your specific body is moving so that you have the ability to self correct and skyrocket your progression. This way when you go to class or do your own practice you are actually creating movement patterns that permanently change how your body functions in the most optimal way.

ELEY MAY – FLEXERSIZE FOUNDER

With a background in competitive Rhythmic Gymnastics, professional dancing and womens figure competitions, Eley has been exposed to many different styles of movement since the very young age of five. After building a huge passion for movement and flexibility in her own training, Eley has gone on to coach gymnasts, dancers, pole dancers, aerialist and many other athletes over the past 17 years. After excelling in Womens figure competitions Eley developed a strong passion for strength training. Contrary to popular belief that strength training is detrimental to reaching your flexibility potential, she actually noticed her body open up even further with all of this new found strength and stability she had been developing. It was then that she became qualified as a personal trainer where she naturally attracted people who really wanted to create strong AND flexible bodies to support their sport, craft or just day to day life. Eley is so passionate about empowering her clients and members to understand their bodies through movement. More than anything, she loves surrounding her self with goal driven ,hard working and positive people who just want to grow, learn and be the best version of themselves. The most rewarding part of what she does is knowing that when people reach goals they never believed they could in the past, they create new more valuable beliefs about them selves not only when it comes to stretching but in the whole realm of their world! 

Her growing community of Flexersizers are what keeps her inspired to improve herself, her movement and her coaching skills every single day.
